Delhi Primary School Closed: Delhi Education Minister Atishi said on Sunday that in view of the dangerous level of air pollution in the national capital, the government has decided to close primary schools till November 10. Delhi Government has taken the decision. During this period, schools have been given the option to shift to online classes for grades 6 to 12.

Atishi, Education Minister in Delhi Government, said that the high level of air pollution in Delhi has reached its highest level in terms of health. Especially it can prove to be very harmful for children. This is the reason that in view of air pollution, the Delhi government has decided to close all the primary schools of Delhi by 10 November 2023.

Danger of pollution in every area of Delhi

Let us tell you that there is no remote possibility of people getting relief from pollution in Delhi even on Sunday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, people in Shadipur area of Delhi had to face the maximum pollution. The air quality level in Delhi has remained in the serious category for the last three days. AQI was 489 in Delhi’s RK Puram, 486 in Dwarka Sector 8, 484 in Okhla Phase Two, 464 in Patparganj, 480 around IGI Airport (T3), 479 in Bawana, 474 in Mundka, 472 in Najafgarh. The AQI level in other areas of Delhi is more or less the same.

The pollution situation in Delhi’s India Gate area is also critical. In the picture taken with the help of drone in Qutub Minar area of Delhi, it has also been told that the Modi layer of smog has remained in South Delhi area. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, this situation is likely to persist for the next few days.
