School Holiday: Anganwadi and primary schools in five sub-divisions of Kangra district, Dehra, Fatehpur, Jawali, Indora and Nurpur will also remain closed from 29th to 2nd June.
School Holiday 2024: Due to the increasing heat and heat wave, after Haryana and Bihar, holidays have been declared in schools of many districts of Himachal Pradesh. This includes many districts including Solan, Kangra, Sirmaur, Una. Let us know till when the schools will remain closed in which district
Schools will remain closed in these districts too
- Orders have been issued to keep all government and private schools of Kangra closed till May 31, orders have also been given to keep Anganwadi centers closed.
- Schools will remain closed in Solan from May 30 to June 4. DC Solan has issued a notification regarding this. However, teachers and non-teaching staff will have to be present in schools.
- SDM Nahan and Kafota have also issued orders to keep schools in rural areas falling under the subdivision closed from May 29 to 31. There will be a holiday on June 1 due to voting. June 2 is Sunday. Now schools will open here on June 3.
- It has been decided to keep all government and private schools closed in Una from May 29 to 31.
- Anganwadi and primary schools of five sub-divisions of Kangra district, Dehra, Fatehpur, Jawali, Indora and Nurpur will also remain closed from 29 to 2 June. All schools in Paonta Sahib sub-division of Sirmaur have been closed.
- In the orders issued by SDM Paonta Sahib Gunjit Singh Cheema, all schools falling under Paonta Sahib sub-division will remain closed on 30 and 31 May. Voting for Lok Sabha in Himachal Pradesh is on 1 June and Sunday holiday is on 2 June. Due to this, schools in Paonta Sahib sub-division will remain closed till Sunday.
- Holiday has been declared in all government schools of Hamirpur from 30 May to 4 June. Issuing orders in this regard, District Magistrate Amarjeet Singh said that on the basis of reports received from the Deputy Director of Higher Education and Deputy Director of Elementary Education, it has been decided to keep all government schools in the district closed from 30 May to 4 June.
Holidays declared in Haryana, Bihar and Jammu too
- It has been decided to keep all government and private schools closed in Haryana till June 30. Schools will open in July after 33 days. The Chief Secretary has ordered the closure of all government and private schools, Anganwadi centres and coaching institutes in Bihar from May 30 to June 8.
- The Jammu and Kashmir administration has announced a 46-day summer holiday from June 1 for government and recognized private schools in the summer zone of Jammu division. These schools will have summer vacations from June 1 to July 16.
- Colleges affiliated to Rohilkhand University in Bareilly, UP will have summer vacations from June 1 to July 10. During this period, examinations will be conducted as per the pre-announced schedule. Teachers on duty will be given compensatory leave.
