School Holiday: Due to continuous heavy rains in Rajasthan, holiday has been declared on Tuesday in government and non-government schools in many districts including Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, Kota, Karauli, Dholpur and Dausa.
School Holiday 2024: There is relief news for school students. Due to the possibility of heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning in Rajasthan, holiday has been declared today on August 13 in all educational institutions and Anganwadi centers running from class 1 to class 12 in all government and non-government schools.
Holiday declared in these districts of Rajasthan
Holiday has been declared today on Tuesday in all government and non-government schools in Jaipur city and Jaipur rural. On the instructions of the Jaipur Collector, the Chief District Education Officer has issued orders in this regard. Along with this, orders for holiday have also been issued in Karauli, Kota and Baran.
Bundi and Bharatpur District Collector have issued orders in view of heavy rains and declared holiday on 13, 14 August 2024 in all Anganwadi centers operating in the district. The remaining staff will work as usual.
Holiday has been declared on 13th August for all Anganwadi centres (supplementary nutrition will be distributed as take home during holidays) operating in Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Dudu, Bharatpur, Kota, Bharan, Tonk, Khairtal, Alwar, Gangapur, Alwar, Dausa districts and students of classes 1 to 12 studying in government and non-government schools. Rest of the staff will remain on duty as usual, supplementary examinations will remain as usual.
Schools in Moradabad will also be closed
Due to Jalabhishek in temples and crowd of Kanwariyas in Moradabad, UP, DM Anuj Singh has given instructions to keep schools closed on 17th August. This includes schools of Basic Education Council, UP Board, CBSE and ICSE Board. Apart from this, apart from Moradabad metropolis, schools falling within five km radius of Delhi Road, Rampur Road and Kanth Road will also remain closed. Apart from this, schools will also remain closed on Sunday 18th and Raksha Bandhan on 19th.
Schools will remain closed for so many days in the month of August
There will be many holidays in the month of August, due to which schools will remain closed. Schools will remain closed on 18 August and 25 August due to Sunday. There will also be a holiday in schools on the occasion of Independence Day / Parsi New Year on 15 August 2024, Rakshabandhan on 19 August and Janmashtami on 26 August. Schools will remain closed in some places on the second and fourth Saturdays.
26 August is celebrated as Women’s Equality Day and 29 August is celebrated as National Sports Day, so holidays can be declared in many states.
