School Holiday / Summer Vacation 2023: There is relief news for school students. After Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, summer vacations in government schools of Bihar have been extended in view of the scorching heat. An order has also been issued in this regard.
The DM of Patna has issued an order to keep all the schools in the district closed till June 18. Keeping in view the health of the children, the district administration has taken the decision. A notification has been issued regarding the closure of all schools up to class 12 in Patna district. In the order issued by Patna DM, it has been said that no educational activity should take place during this period. Apart from Patna, private schools in many districts have extended summer vacations in their schools. Most of the private schools are going to open from 19th June.

As per the order, keeping in view the scorching heat and strong heat in the capital Patna, there will be a ban on teaching and learning in all schools from Pre School Anganwadi Center to 12th standard. This instruction of the District Magistrate will have to be implemented vigorously by all the principals of the schools. If any school principal disobeys this order, strict action has been taken against them. The next order will be passed after churning and considering it again after June 18. A copy of this order has been published in government and non-government schools so that there is no doubt as to whom the schools should be in.
Holidays extended in MP-UP-Jharkhand as well
Apart from this, a holiday has been announced in Jharkhand from June 12 to June 14. In this regard, Secretary K. Ravi Kumar issued the order. According to the order, ‘Keeping in view the scorching heat and ongoing heat in the state, all categories of government, non-government, aided / unaided (including minority) and all private schools operating in the state will remain closed from June 12, Monday to June 14. The day will remain closed till Wednesday. In Uttar Pradesh, the holidays have been extended till June 26, now the schools will open on June 27, while in Indore and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh, it has been decided to keep the schools closed till June 19.
