Delhi school closed: On January 22 (Monday), the consecration ceremony of Ramlala will be organized in Ayodhya Ram temple. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm across the country regarding this. In such a situation, morning shift school children have been dismissed in Delhi on Monday. The Directorate of Education of Delhi Government has issued an order regarding this.

Order issued for leave

The Directorate of Education has issued an order to close morning or normal shift schools on January 22, 2024. It is written in the order that all the establishments of Delhi Government have been announced to remain closed for half a day tomorrow (till 02:30 pm). This is so that all the government employees can celebrate the Ramlala Pran Pratishtha ceremony to be organized in Ayodhya. At the same time, the government has ordered the aided schools of Delhi running in general and morning shift to remain closed today.

Evening shift schools will open

According to the order issued by the Delhi Government, only the schools opening in the morning shift have been closed. However, schools running in evening shift will open from 2.30 pm. This order has been issued only for tomorrow i.e. 22 January (Monday).

The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla will begin at 12:20 pm and is expected to end by 1 pm. Sudha Acharya, principal of Delhi’s ITL Public School, said the Directorate of Education should have included private schools in its order as they too are ‘governed’ by it. Sudha said, ‘Private schools have become confused by this order. We don’t know what to do now. We were waiting for the order from the directorate. It is the directorate which declares holidays even for private schools and we are governed by it. This is very disappointing.
