Now there are reports of heavy rains in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, due to which rivers are in spate and flood-like conditions have arisen in many areas. As a result, the administration has closed all schools, giving priority to the safety and health of school-going children. All government and private schools and Anganwadi centers from class 1 to 12 will remain closed in Dehradun.

Also, a huge crowd of Shiva devotees is gathering in Haridwar to take Ganga water and more crowd is expected to increase in the coming days. In such a situation, DM Dheeraj Singh Garbyal has ordered the closure of all schools in the district from July 27 to August 2. In view of the huge crowd gathering in the Kanwar Yatra, holidays have been announced in schools in four districts of Uttar Pradesh.

This announcement has been made citing a lot of difficulties in coming and going to school. All schools and colleges will remain closed from July 27 to August 2, 2024. Orders have been issued to keep government and private schools and colleges closed from July 27 to August 2 in Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Hapur.

Schools closed due to rain in Himachal

Let us tell you that the period of rain continues in Himachal. It is raining intermittently at different places in Himachal. Here the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain till July 28. IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain. School holidays were already announced in Himachal Pradesh due to rain. There is an order to close the school from June 22, 2024 to July 29, 2024. However, if heavy rain continues, the date of closure of schools may be extended.
