The monsoon session of the Mumbai Legislative Assembly is going on at this time. MLAs from different areas of the state are reaching Mumbai to attend the monsoon session, but the MLAs have also been affected by the heavy rains in Mumbai. Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, the railway track has been flooded. Therefore, the Howrah Express remained stopped in Kurla area for a long time. Cabinet ministers Anil Patil, Sanjay Gaikwad, Amol Mitkari, Jogendra Kavade and many MLAs were travelling in this express.
Runway closed at Mumbai airport
Due to bad weather, runway operations at Mumbai airport were suspended for some time. Airport personnel were deployed at the terminals to assist the passengers and provide them necessary assistance. IMD alert regarding rain in Mumbai
IMD has issued an alert regarding the weather in Mumbai. MD has issued an orange alert for Akola, Amravati and Yavatmal in West Vidarbha in the next 24 hours. Buldhana, Amravati will receive heavy to moderate rain. Heavy rain is expected in some parts of Nagpur. Other districts have been given a yellow alert.
