School Holiday: As soon as the month of Sawan begins, holidays have been announced in schools. Actually, the Kanwar fair starts in the month of Sawan, in which lakhs of Kanwars gather in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, in view of which the administration has closed the schools due to the increasing crowd.
The district administration has issued an order to keep all schools from class 1 to class 12 closed from 27 July to 2 August due to the Kanwar fair. District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal has decided to close all the schools and Anganwadi centers of the district for 6 days.
The order has been issued by District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Garbyal on Tuesday. It has been told that a huge crowd is going to gather in the coming days in the Kanwar fair. During this time, routes will be diverted to run the traffic. Due to this, children going to school will have to face a lot of difficulties. In such a situation, orders have been given to close all government and private schools from 27 July to 2 August.
It is worth noting that the Kanwar fair has started from 22 July. During this time, lakhs of Kanwariyas are reaching Haridwar in Uttarakhand to take Gangajal.
