Winter School Holiday in Haryana: Winter vacation has been announced in schools in Haryana. According to the notice issued by the Education Department, schools in Haryana will be closed from 01 January 2025. That is, winter holidays will start. According to the order that has come at present, winter school holiday in Haryana will remain till 15 January 2025. That is, schools will remain closed for a total of 15 days. Again, schools will open from Thursday 16 January 2025 and classes will start.
This order of the State Education Department will be applicable to all government, aided and private schools. However, an exception has also been mentioned.
What is Haryana Winter Vacation Order?
In this notice issued by the Assistant Director of Secondary Education Department, Haryana, Panchkula, it is written- ‘Winter vacation is declared in all the schools of the state from 01 January 2025 to 15 January 2025. The schools will be reopened as usual from 16 January 2025 (Thursday). It is requested to ensure compliance in all the schools under your control.’
The notice further states that- ‘During this vacation, students can be called to school for practicals as per the schedule prescribed for board classes (10th and 12th) as per the rules of CBSE Board, ICSE Board, etc.’
