10th and 12th exams have started in many states and are about to start in many states. Parents, teachers and students are all busy preparing for the exams at their respective levels. But due to board exams, examinations for the remaining classes have not been started yet in many states.
School Holiday: In such a situation, schools for these children are still being run as per the schedule. Now, if in such a situation the children get leave from going to school, that too with the consent of the parents, then what can we say?
School holiday was declared in many states on the day of Basant Panchami. In many schools, children were sent back home after worshiping Goddess Saraswati. But there were many schools where studies were starting smoothly even yesterday.
Four more days of holidays are coming for children in the month of February itself. However, there will be two Sundays. But the special thing is that the remaining two holidays are going to fall with these two Sundays.
18th February is Sunday, the very next day Shivaji Jayanti will be celebrated on Monday. There is a holiday in many schools on this day. Similarly, 24th February i.e. Saturday is Guru Ravidas Jayanti, on the occasion of which holiday is provided in almost all the schools of the country. Since 25th February is Sunday, children will be able to celebrate two consecutive days of holiday together.
Although schools are not obliged to give scheduled holidays, if the school wishes, they can cancel these days to run the school smoothly.
