School Holiday: There is good news for school students. There is going to be a lot of school holidays in October. Apart from Diwali, there will be many public holidays this year. Let us know how many days and on which festivals there will be holidays in October.

Dhanteras on October, Narak Chaudas on October 30, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja on October 31. There will be a holiday in all schools due to Govardhan Puja on November 1 and Bhai Dooj on November 2.

Apart from this, there will be a public holiday across the country on Sunday on 6, 13, 20 October and 27 October due to weekly holiday.

In Chhattisgarh, Navratri and Dussehra holidays have been declared in the state from 7 to 13 October 2024, that is, schools will remain closed for a total of 6 days.

In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan too, there will be a holiday in all schools due to Dussehra, Diwali, Dhanteras, Narak Chaudas, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.

In Bihar, October 6 is Sunday, October 10 is Durga Ashtami, October 11 is Durga Navami, October 12 is Vijayadashami and October 13 is Sunday.

Schools will remain closed on Sunday on October 1, Sunday on October 27 and Diwali holiday on October 31.

The Telangana government has announced Dussehra and Badhukamma holidays for schools till October 14.

In Jharkhand, government schools will remain closed on October 9 due to Durga Puja Saptami, Diwali on November 1 and Chhath on November 6.

The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has declared holidays from October 3 to October 13 in schools across the state.

The Karnataka Public Education Department has officially announced Dussehra holidays for students in government and private schools for the academic year 2024-25.

In which holidays have been scheduled from October 3 to 20, giving students a total of 17 days off.
