School Holidays 2024: Big relief for students! Now schools will remain closed for these many days, order issued

In view of tiger activity in Jakhnidhar tehsil of Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, holiday has been declared in schools on 23rd and 24th September.

School Holiday 2024: There is good news for the students. Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar has issued orders to keep all government offices and educational institutions closed on the occasion of the arrival of Baba Sheikh Farid ji in Faridkot today on 23 September. Today, on Monday, schools will also remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the birthday of Maharaja Harisingh ji.

Apart from this, all government and private schools in Haryana will remain closed on account of Martyrdom Day. In view of the tiger’s activity in Jakhnidhar tehsil of Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, holiday has been declared in schools on 23 and 24 September. In this regard, an order has been issued by Pauri District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan. Keeping in view the safety of the school student, the District Magistrate has declared holiday on 23 and 24 September in 9 schools and all Anganwadi centers of Dwarikhal area.

So many holidays in Chhattisgarh from September to December

• The Chhattisgarh School Education Department has released the calendar of holidays in schools and B.Ed-D.Ed colleges for the academic session 2024-25. A total of 64 days of holidays have been declared in the list of the Directorate of Public Instruction.
• In this, winter vacation will be 6 days and summer vacation will be 46 days. Summer holidays will start from May 1 and will last till June 15. 6-6 days holiday has been declared in Dussehra-Diwali.
• There will be a holiday due to Dhanteras on October 29, Narak Chaudas on October 30, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 1 and Bhai Dooj on November 2.

Schools closed in Bihar and Jharkhand too

In Bihar, a holiday has been declared in schools on 25 September for Jiutiya festival. In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, government schools will remain closed due to Jiutiya on 25 September, Durga Puja Saptami on 9 October, Diwali on 1 November and Chhath on 6 November.
