School Holidays 2024: Government has declared holiday on 17th September in all the schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar. The Maharashtra government has cancelled the holiday on 16th September and ordered to keep the schools and colleges closed on 18th September.
School Holiday 2024: There is good news for the students. The Chhattisgarh government has declared a public and general holiday on ‘Eid-e-Milad’ on 16 September 2024. The optional holiday on Anant Chaturdashi and Vishwakarma Jayanti on 17 September will remain the same. In Banswara district of Rajasthan, holidays have been declared in schools on 16 September – Eid-e-Milad and on 17 September on Anant Chaturdashi.
Apart from this, holiday has been declared in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana Delhi, UP, Andhra Pradesh today on 16 September. Schools will remain closed in Hyderabad on 16 and 17 September. Here, there will be a holiday on 22 and 29 September due to Sunday, so schools in all states will remain closed.
Holidays declared in these states on 17-18 September
The Odisha government has declared a holiday in all schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar on 17 September due to PM Narendra Modi’s visit. The Maharashtra government has cancelled the holiday on 16 September and has ordered schools and colleges to remain closed on 18 September.
In Bihar, holidays have been declared in schools on 17 September for Anant Chaturthi and on 25 September for Jiutiya festival. In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, there will be a holiday in government schools due to Jiutiya on 25 September, Durga Puja Saptami on 9 October, Diwali on 1 November and Chhath on 6 November.
So many holidays in Chhattisgarh from September to December
The Chhattisgarh School Education Department has released the calendar of holidays in schools and B.Ed-D.Ed colleges for the academic session 2024-25. A total of 64 days of holidays have been declared in the list of the Directorate of Public Instruction. In this, winter vacation will be 6 days and summer vacation will be 46 days. Summer holidays will start from May 1 and will last till June 15.
6-6 days holiday has been declared in Dussehra-Diwali. There will be holiday due to Dhanteras on October 29, Narak Chaudas on October 30, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 1 and Bhai Dooj on November 2.
