New Year Holiday 31st December
In the month of December, there is a day before the New Year which is often called New Year’s Evening. Although it is not an official government holiday in schools, many schools declare a holiday on 31 December and celebrate the welcome of the New Year on this day. After this, there will also be a holiday in schools on 1 January 2025.
Winter holidays in school, December 2024
Every year the duration and timing of winter holidays is often decided by the district administration and school authorities according to the weather. In many states, winter holidays start from December 21 or December 25, but in some states, winter holidays are from January 1 to January 15.
It is difficult to officially tell the date of the holiday in this regard but winter holidays will be announced in different regions and especially in North India.
