School Holidays 2025: Good news for students! schools will remain closed for this many days in April, check holiday list

School Holiday 2025: There is good news for school students. Holiday has been declared in MP, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal due to Eid-ul-Fitr on 31 March. Apart from this, the Telangana government has declared holidays on 31 March and 1 April due to Eid-ul-Fitr. Now educational institutions will reopen on 2 April.

Apart from this, there will be holidays in schools of different states due to Ram Navami on 6 April, Mahavir Jayanti on 10 April, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti on 11 April, Baisakhi festival on 13 April, Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April and Good Friday on 18 April and Parshuram Jayanti on 29 April.

Himachal Pradesh Summer Vacation

  • This time the summer vacation in the schools of Himachal Pradesh will be of 32 days from 12 July to 12 August. Earlier it used to be of 38 days from 22 June to 29 July. 4 holidays of April have been stopped, instead summer break will be from 1 to 8 June. Winter break will be from 1 to 8 January.
  • Schools of Nalagarh, Fatehpur, Nagarota Surian, Indora, Paonta Sahib, Kala Amb and Una district will have 30 days summer vacation from 1 to 30 June and monsoon vacation from 3 to 12 August.
  • Monsoon break in summer and winter closing schools of Kullu district will be from 20 July to 12 August.Monsoon break in summer and winter closing schools of Kullu district will be from 20 July to 12 August and winter break will be given from 1 to 14 January.
  • There will be 8 days holiday during Dussehra in Kullu, while four days holiday will be given on Diwali. Winter Vacation Schools will have winter break from 1 January to 11 February. Monsoon break will be from 7 to 12 August, while festival break will be given for 4 days around Diwali.

Summer camps will be organized in Uttar Pradesh during summer vacations

  • Summer camps will be organized for children in council schools of Uttar Pradesh during summer vacations between 20 May and 15 June. In this, children will be taught many subjects along with studies in a playful manner.
  • During the summer camp, children will be given information about activities based on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), skills, yoga, sports, science-technology based experiments, art-culture etc.
  • The camps will be organized daily for one and a half hours in the morning, the responsibility of which will be of Shiksha Mitra, instructors and teachers. In the camp, children will be provided with jaggery chikki, millet laddu, Ramdana laddu, jaggery-gram and Laiya Patti for supplementary nutrition.
  • CM Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions in this regard. The education department will spend 200 crores on this. This initiative will help in the educational development of children
