All schools will remain closed from Wednesday, May 28 to June 30. Schools will reopen from July 1. Schools will remain closed for a total of 33 days. Schools have also been instructed to ensure compliance with the order. Along with this, teachers have also been instructed to give Holiday Homework on May 27, 2024.
For information, let us tell you that earlier summer holidays were to start in Haryana from June 1. But keeping in mind the heatwave and the health of the students, the Education Department has already announced the start of summer vacation. At the same time, in Gurugram, schools have been closed from May 27 in view of the heatwave.
School timings were changed in Haryana
Earlier, the state government had also changed the school timings, which was effective till May 18. Classes are being held in all private and government schools from 7 am to 12 noon. At the same time, in schools with two shifts, the first shift was running from 7 am to 11:30 am. An order was issued to run the second shift from 11:45 am to 4:15 pm.
Summer holidays were also implemented before time in these states
Keeping in mind the health of the students, apart from Haryana, the dates of summer vacation have been changed in many other states due to severe heat. This list includes UP, Delhi and Punjab. Summer holidays in Delhi will be from May 11 to June 30. Schools in Punjab will remain closed from May 21 to June 30.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert regarding heatwave in many states of the country. The heat wave is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, MP, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Delhi, Rajasthan and UP till May 29. The temperature in Haryana is expected to go up to 42 to 46 degrees.
