In September, there will be holidays on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays. Eid-e-Milad Barawafat is on 16 September, so there will be a holiday in schools in many states including Telangana and UP.
School Holiday 2024: There is relief news for school students. In view of the possibility of heavy floods and rains, Collector Lok Bandhu has declared a holiday today on 9th September for students of classes 1 to 12 in all the schools of Ajmer district. At the same time, the Manipur government has declared a two-day holiday in all schools and colleges on Monday and Tuesday due to deteriorating law and order in the state.
Apart from this, holidays have been declared in schools in some places of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rains. Here, there will be a holiday on September 10 in Batala, Punjab due to the wedding anniversary of the first Patshahi Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Mata Sulakhni Ji. In Alwar district of Rajasthan too, the collector has declared a local holiday on September 10 due to the fair at Pandupul Hanuman temple.

There will be holidays on 15, 22, and 29 September due to Sunday. 14 and 28 will be the second and fourth Saturdays, so many schools will remain closed on these days too.
Eid-e-Milad Barawfat is on 16 September, so there will be a public holiday. Apart from these holidays, there will be some local and regional holidays as well. So far, holidays have been declared in Telangana, UP and Bihar.
In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, there will be a holiday in government schools due to Jiutiya on 25 September, Durga Puja Saptami on 9 October, Diwali on 1 November and Chhath on 6 November.
In Bihar, there will be a holiday on Anant Chaturthi on 17 September and Jiutiya festival on 25 September.
Vishwakarma Puja/Anant Chaturdashi is on 17 September (Tuesday), so there may be a holiday in some schools of Uttar Pradesh on this day as well. However, this is a restricted holiday.
