School Holidays: The detailed program of the cleanliness fortnight has been issued by the Directorate General of School Education. Waste materials, broken furniture, unusable equipment and damaged vehicles etc. will be removed from the schools by adopting the procedure as per rules. The use of single use plastic will be stopped in schools. Students and parents will be made aware for cleanliness. Also, schools will remain closed from 1 to 15 September.
School Holidays canceled: Cleanliness fortnight will be celebrated from September 1 to September 15 in council and secondary schools. Every day during the fortnight one or the other program will be organized in the schools. In such a situation, orders have been given to open the schools every day. During this, there will be no holiday on Sundays on September 3 and 10, Chehallum on September 6 and Janmashtami on September 7.
These four holidays will be postponed to the next month. Earlier, the holidays have been canceled due to the Meri Mati Mera Desh program on Muharram and August 13. On the other hand, on Tuesday, schools were opened for the first time in the evening to show the live telecast of Chandrayaan-3 landing on the moon. Teachers have started opposing it. UP Secondary Teachers Federation has lodged an objection on this.
