Holidays increased in UP also
In Shamli, UP too, in view of the increasing cold, dense fog and worsening weather, it has been decided to keep schools from classes one to eight closed till January 13. On the orders of DM Ravindra Singh, the holiday period has been extended in schools from classes one to eight. Under this, in all the recognized schools of the entire board, from the 10th onwards, the timing of classes from class 9 to 12 has been changed from 10 am to 3 pm. It is clearly stated in the order that if If any school is found violating the order, strict action will be taken against it.
In Badaun too, DM has issued orders to keep schools closed till January 14. Under this, primary schools and junior schools will remain closed. In Anganwadi also, students of age group 3 to 6 years will have holiday till 14th January. Winter vacations in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools have also been extended till January 14 and will remain closed. The district administration has decided to keep schools of all boards from classes one to eight closed till January 14. Earlier, holidays were kept in these schools till January 6.
