School Holidays Extended: Schools up to class 8 will remain closed till January 25, school holidays extended due to winter

UP School Closed: In view of the current cold wave situation, many district administrations in Uttar Pradesh have announced that schools up to class 8 will remain closed till January 25. School closure has been announced in some districts of UP due to severe cold and cold wave. Officials are constantly monitoring the weather conditions. The weather conditions are still bad in some areas, so the holidays have been extended till January 25, 2025. Schools are closed in many districts of Uttar Pradesh due to cold wave and low temperatures.

Education officials are keeping a close watch on the weather so that a decision can be taken about opening the school. The weather is still very bad in some districts. This has allowed the students to enjoy the holidays till January 25, 2025.

According to the order of District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh, schools up to class 5 in Ayodhya will remain closed till January 25, 2025. However, students from class 6 to 12 will have to come to school from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of torrential rain and dense fog on January 23. Also, the weather is expected to remain colder in the coming days.

In view of the cold wave in Gorakhpur, District Magistrate Krishna Karunesh has extended the holidays of schools up to class 8 for two days. Now CBSE, ICSE, secondary and all government and private schools will open on January 24. In the order issued on Tuesday, the DM said that all schools from 1st to 8th will remain closed on January 22 and 23. Schools from class 9th to 12th will operate from 10 am to 3 pm.

Schools have reopened in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Students are now going back to their classes as per the time set by their schools. The weather is getting better in some areas, so the District Magistrates have decided to reopen the schools.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of torrential rains and dense fog in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on January 23 and 24. This is expected to increase the cold in the coming days. However, the Meteorological Department said that the weather is expected to clear from next week.
