In Lucknow, the holidays of class 1 to 8 will be on 17th January and in Agar, the holidays of class 1 to 5 will be on 17 January. Holiday has been declared till 20th January.

Know for how long will schools remain closed in which districts of UP?

  • In Agra, the holidays of school students from classes 1 to 5 have been extended till January 20, while the school timings of students from classes 6 to 8 have been changed. Due to Makar Sankranti holiday on January 15, schools up to class 12 will remain closed. There will be a holiday of.   • Holidays have been declared in schools in Noida, Bareilly, Balrampur, Mainpuri and Ghaziabad till January 16, 2024. The District Basic Education Officer has issued a notice informing about this. Under this, all board schools from nursery to class 8th will remain closed till January 16, while teachers and other staff will have to register their presence in the school from January 16 itself. Schools up to class 12th will remain closed in Bareilly.

Holidays increased in Punjab-Haryana also

  • Apart from UP, all schools up to class five in Punjab will also remain closed till January 21. In this regard, the Education Minister has given information through a post on Twitter that as per the guidelines of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, keeping in view the health and safety of the students due to the severe cold in the state, all primary schools up to class five (Govt./ Aided/recognized and private) schools will remain closed till January 21.
  • All middle, high and senior secondary schools of the state (government/aided/recognized and private) will be held from 15 to 15 regularly from 10 am to 3 pm. The timing of all schools with double shift will be from 9 am to 4:00 pm. No school with double shift will open after 4:00 pm. These orders will remain in force with immediate effect till January 21.
  • Haryana Education Department has extended the holidays of students up to class 3 till January 18. DC will take the decision on holidays for classes above this at their own level. Official orders in this regard will be issued on Monday.
  • Keeping in view the cold wave, in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, holiday was declared on 15-16 January 2024 for students up to class 12 of all Anganwadi centres, government, semi-government, government aided and private schools of the district. Are. In view of non-teaching work, all the academic and ministerial personnel of the school will remain present as per the schedule.
