School Holidays: In view of the extreme cold and cold wave in 12 districts of Rajasthan including Jaipur, the period of holidays in schools has been extended. During this time, the teaching staff will be present in the school regularly.
School Winter Holiday 2024: There is relief news for the school students of Rajasthan. In view of the severe cold and dense fog, holidays have been extended once again in many districts. Holidays have been extended from 1 to 5 days in 12 districts including Jaipur.
Dausa and Ajmer District Magistrate have announced one day winter holiday. Under this, an order has been issued to close schools on January 7 for children from class 1 to class 8. The Education Department has authorized the District Collector to change the operating time of all government and non-government (private) schools operating till January 11, 2025 or declare holiday for the students.
Holidays extended in these districts of Rajasthan
- In Dausa, a holiday has been declared on January 7 in schools for children from class 1 to class 8.
- The Bharatpur District Magistrate has issued an order to close schools from 1 to 8 till January 9. Action will be taken against the school management for violating the order.
- In Dholpur and Kota, an order has been issued to close schools from January 7 to January 9 for children from class 1 to class 8. The order states that a holiday is declared in the school till January 9.
- In Sri Ganganar too, District Collector Manju Chaudhary has issued an order and declared a holiday for children from class 1 to 8 from January 7 to January 11.
- In Kotputli-Baharod, Jhunjhunu Churu and Bikaner too, the District Magistrate has announced a holiday from January 7 to 11.
- Chittorgarh District Collector Alok Ranjan has declared a holiday for three days or from 7 to 9 January in all government and non-government schools. Holiday has been declared from 7 to 9 January in all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 8. The remaining staff will have to go to school.
- In Beawar, Bhilwara and Karauli, the District Magistrate has declared a holiday in all schools on 7 and 8 January. In Karauli, students of class 9 to 12 have been ordered to come to school at 10 am. In Jaipur too, holiday has been declared in schools from 1 to 8 till 7 and 8 January.
Holiday declared in schools in these districts of Bihar-UP
- Holiday has been declared in all pre-schools, government and private schools from class 1 to 5 and all Anganwadi centers in Gaya and Saran of Bihar till January 8. All government and private schools up to class 8 in Patna have been declared closed till January 11.
- Bhojpur DM has banned educational activities up to class 8 in all private and government schools and Anganwadi centers till January 09. Schools in many districts including Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Siwan, Munger, Sheikhpura, Saran, Bettiah will remain closed till January 11, 2025.
- All schools from class 1 to 8 in Lucknow, UP will remain closed till January 11. Orders have been given to conduct online or offline classes for students of class 9 to 12 between 10:00 am to 03:00 pm. Farrukhabad and Lakhimpur Kheri DM has issued an order to close all the schools in the district till January 14. Now all the schools will open on January 15.
