School News: There has been a change in the school timetable once again in Bihar. From May 16, all the hours in the state will run from 6 am to 12 noon. The Education Department has also issued an order in this regard. Let us tell you that summer vacations are going on in all the primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state from April 15. The order will come into effect as soon as the school opens, which will remain effective till June 30, 2024. The new timing will be applicable to all government schools. This decision has been taken so that the health of the students is not adversely affected due to the heat.
Here is the new time table
Teaching work in schools will continue from 6 am to 12 noon. Mid-day meal will be given to the students between 10 am to 10:30 am. After school closes at 12 o’clock, the school will conduct special classes on the lines of Mission Daksh for weak children. Apart from this, teachers will do additional work, home work, checking of copies and making lesson commentary.
Teachers should leave school after 1:30 pm
The Education Department has also issued instructions for principals. After the completion of the teaching work in the school, the principals of all the schools will do the enrollment of additional students and other administrative work in addition to the above work. Teachers will leave the school at 1:30 pm.
Order issued to district officials
The Education Department has ordered the district officials to ensure 90% attendance of children in all schools during this period. We will ensure to give orders to this effect to the principals of all the schools in our district at our level.
