Delhi School: Delhi government has issued an order to open all schools from Monday. In the order of Delhi Government, it was said that all classes will run in physical mode. But due to cold the school timings have been changed.

Change in time due to frost

As per the official order of Delhi Government, school has been started for students of all classes from Monday. This also includes nursery, KG and primary classes. No school will start before 9 am and will not continue after 5 pm. But as a precautionary measure due to dense fog, no school (including double shift schools) will start before 9 am and classes will not run after 5 pm until further instructions.

All teachers will return to duty from tomorrow

All teaching and non-teaching staff will report for duty as usual. This will have to be informed to all students, parents and employees today itself through SMS facility, phone call, SMC and other appropriate means of communication.

100 trains running late

There was dense fog in Delhi-NCR on Sunday, due to which more than 100 flights and 22 trains were delayed due to poor visibility. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 3.5 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below the average. There was dense fog in Delhi on Sunday morning and the lowest visibility was zero in Safdarjung at 8 am, while Palam also recorded zero visibility at 5 am.

Red alert issued in many areas

According to Indian Railways, a total of 22 trains are running late by hours due to fog and cold wave. Traffic was extremely slow on the roads as visibility was reduced to a few feet due to fog. Meanwhile, the air quality is turning ‘severe’ in many areas of Delhi, prompting the weather office to issue a red alert due to the prevailing cold and foggy conditions.
