Instructions have also been given to make arrangements for static and mobile medical teams for the affected areas. All primary health centres, referral hospitals, sadar hospitals, sub-divisional hospitals and medical colleges have been asked to be prepared with special arrangements.

There has been a change in the working hours of workers during the heat wave period. It has been asked to fix the working hours from 6 am to 11 am and 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

The number of public transport should be reduced

The Transport Department has been asked to reduce the movement of vehicles as far as possible due to the heat wave. The operation of public transport vehicles can be controlled from 11 am to 3.30 pm.
