The notice issued by the Patna district administration said that cold weather and low temperatures continue in the district, especially in the morning and evening hours, due to which the health and life of children is likely to be adversely affected. Therefore, I, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, District Magistrate, Patna, under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, have issued a notice to ban educational activities for all classes in all private/government schools (including pre-schools, Anganwadi centers and coaching centers) of Patna district. I impose a ban before 9 am and after 3.30 pm. The school management is directed to reschedule the academic activities as per the order mentioned above. Operation of special classes with adequate precautions for mission efficiency and board exams will remain free from this. This order will come into effect from January 27, which will remain effective till January 31.
