Late on Wednesday night, Education Minister Atishi wrote on Twitter, ‘In view of the heavy rain this evening and the possibility of heavy rain tomorrow, all schools (government and private) will remain closed tomorrow (Thursday).’ Heavy rain has occurred in the entire Delhi NCR. It is worth noting that on 27th July, three UPSC students died due to drowning in the basement of a coaching institute in Old Rajendra Nagar due to heavy rains. In such a situation, the government does not want to take any risk. All schools and coaching institutes have been asked to be extra cautious.
