OMAN Schools closed: Public and private schools in OMAN have been closed until Tuesday 24 October. It is reported that in view of the bad weather and safety of children, the decision to close the school has been taken. The country’s Ministry of Education has said that schools in Dhofar region will remain closed on Sunday, October 22 and Monday, October 23.
Bad weather has been declared in the Arabian Sea. The Ministry has informed that the National Center had issued an alert regarding bad weather. The ministry has said that keeping in mind the safety of children, schools will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
All work will start from 24th October
The General Directorate of Education of Dhofar Governorate has said that school will be started again from 24 October 2023. It was predicted by the Meteorological Department that cyclone conditions could arise and it could reach Dhofar on Sunday.
