Schools Closed: Schools will remain closed on Monday in these states, will open on Sunday

Schools Closed Today: The holy month of Sawan has started from 22 July 2024. In Sawan, Kanwar Yatra is taken out in most of the districts. In such a situation, a situation of severe jam is created. That is why the weekly holiday day of schools has been changed in many major districts. Now the schools will remain closed there on Monday.

Schools Closed: The month of Sawan is being considered more special because it is starting from Monday. In many states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, the Kanwar Yatra carried out by Shiva devotees in Sawan has also started. At the same time, in some states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, holidays have been declared in different areas due to heavy rains.

Many routes are diverted to manage heavy crowds during Kanwar Yatra (Kanwar Yatra 2024). Apart from this, many devotees also flock to temples for darshan throughout Sawan. In such a situation, children sometimes get stuck in long jams and sometimes feel troubled due to route diversion. This year, to save children from such problems, it has been decided to keep schools closed on Mondays throughout Sawan in many districts (School Holidays in July).

Schools will open on Sunday

It has been decided to keep schools closed on Monday in Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh and Indore and Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the presence of Shiva temples in Varanasi and Ujjain, a huge crowd of devotees gathers during the month of Sawan. There is a special extra crowd on Monday. Baba Mahakal’s procession takes place on the Monday of Sawan in Ujjain. In such a situation, many roads remain closed and children face difficulty in reaching home. Keeping that in mind, schools will open on Sunday from 22 July to 2 September and will remain closed on Monday.

Heavy rain alert

It has been raining continuously for several weeks in different areas of Maharashtra. Due to waterlogging at many places, coming to school is no less than a problem for children. That is why keeping in mind the red alert of rain, holiday has been declared in Mumbai, Pune and other cities (Rain Red Alert). Keep in mind here that not every school in Mumbai is closed. Holiday has been declared only in those areas where there is a possibility of heavy rain.

Attendance decreased in Nuh

Braj Mandal’s Jalabhishek Yatra is being taken out in Nuh, Haryana (Nuh Braj Mandal Yatra). More than 5000 soldiers will monitor every inch of Nuh. Even drones are being used for surveillance. Internet and SMS facilities will remain closed for 24 hours to keep the situation under control. In this situation, holiday has been declared in some schools (Haryana Schools Closed). It is being told that where schools are open in Nuh today, attendance is low.
