Schools Holiday: In the month of October also, holiday has been announced for school students, government employees and teachers. The holiday has been announced in view of many major festivals from Dussehra, Durga Puja.

Schools will be closed for several days in the month of October also. The benefit of which will be available to students from class 1 to 12. National holidays have been declared in government schools and colleges. The same optional local holiday has also been announced.
Schools will remain closed in October
- Holiday declared as October 1 falls on Sunday
- October 2 declared a national holiday to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti
- There will be a holiday on Sunday on 8th October while
- An optional holiday has been declared in Chhattisgarh on October 13 on Prannath Jayanti.
- There will be a holiday on Sunday 15th October
Whereas Sunday 22nd October has also been declared a holiday. - 23 October was declared a local holiday on the occasion of Mahanavami while
- October 24 has been declared a national holiday on the occasion of Dussehra.
- There will be a national holiday on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti on 28th October.
- Whereas Sunday 29th October has been declared a holiday.
