UP Schools Timings Changed: Some changes have been made in the timings of government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Under this, the school opening and closing time has been changed and this rule applies to both secondary and higher secondary schools. This change has started from October 1 and after the holiday of today i.e. October 2, schools will open according to this new timing. This time, along with the timing of winter and summer, the timing of lunch break has also been changed.
What will be the new timing?
According to the new schedule, government schools of Uttar Pradesh will operate between 8 am to 2 pm from April 1 to September 30, 2023. Whereas between October 1 and March 31, 2023, the timings of schools will be from 9 am to 3 pm.
After the school opens, there will be a prayer meeting and yoga practice. 15 minutes time has been allotted for this.
Lunch break time also changed
Apart from this, the time of lunch break has also changed. In the summer season, lunch break will be between 10.30 to 11 am, while in the winter season the timing will change to 12 to 12.30 noon. Now schools will operate according to this timing and this rule will be equally applicable to all government schools of UP.
This time schools opened on Sunday also
This time all the primary and secondary schools in UP remained open even on Sunday. A one-hour Shramdaan program was organized in these schools. This program was organized under the Swachh Anjali program organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
On this occasion, UP CM Yogi Adityanath had also given instructions to organize Prabhat Pheri. This was for basic and secondary schools. The objective of this program was to make teachers and students take up the responsibility of keeping their school and its premises clean.
