Schools up to 12th will remain closed in this district of UP today, DM issued orders

In view of the heavy rain alert issued by the Meteorological Department, DM K. Balaji has declared a holiday in all schools up to class 12 on Monday. However, if there is any exam on Monday, it will be held at the same time as before. DM said that according to the information of Lucknow Meteorological Department, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Meerut and adjoining areas on October 18. Keeping this in mind, October 18 is declared a holiday in all board schools of Meerut district. There will be a holiday in the schools up to class 12 in the district. The officials of the Education Department have been asked to comply with the order. The DM has also made it clear that if any exam is pre-scheduled then it will be as per its scheduled schedule.
