Schools Winter Vacation Extended: On the instructions issued by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar, the holidays of all schools up to 8th in the district have been extended till January 16. However, in the meantime, students from classes 9th to 12th have been called to school, their physical classes will continue.
Schools Winter Vacation Latest Update: Cold wave and severe cold continue in North India. Keeping in mind the health of children in the bone-chilling cold, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to extend the holidays in schools. Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has extended the holidays of schools up to class 8th in Noida till January 16. Physical classes will remain closed in all government and private schools from nursery to class 8th till January 16. However, regular classes for students from class 9 to 12 will continue.
In the instructions issued by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar, it is written, ‘Due to dense fog and extreme cold, all the boards (CBSE, ICSE, IB UP Board and others) recognized by the Basic Education Department in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. There will be a holiday till 16 January 2024 in classes nursery to 8th) and council/non-government/government schools (from nursery to class 8th). The entire staff of the school will remain working on 16 January 2024. The said order should be strictly followed.
UP government has extended school holidays for the second time due to cold and cold wave. Let us tell you that for the last several days the minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh has been in single digits. The minimum temperature reached its lowest level of 3.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday. A further drop of 0.8 degrees was recorded in the minimum temperature in the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of relief from cold in the state for the next several days.
