Senior citizens are being given 7.6 percent interest on these FD schemes of SBI, Details here

Under SBI Amrit Kalash FD, people are given an interest of 7.1 per cent annually. Whereas senior citizens are being given interest of 7.6 per cent on this. SBI Amrit Kalash FD is for 400 days.

State Bank of India (SBI) offers various fixed deposit (FD) schemes to general and senior citizens. These schemes provide attractive FD interest rates to senior citizens.

Regular income

FD provides reliable income through regular interest payouts. They are easy to open and manage.

SBI senior citizen FD schemes

Here are a few SBI senior citizen FD schemes like Wecare FD, Amrit Kalash FD, Amrit Vrishti FD, and others that provide good returns to senior citizens.

SBI Wecare FD

The last date for investing money under Vcare FD of the State Bank of India is September 30. In this scheme, fresh deposits and matured FD can be renewed. Under this, the interest of 7.50 per cent is being given by the bank.

SBI Amrit Kalash FD scheme

Under SBI Amrit Kalash FD, people are given an interest of 7.1 per cent annually. Whereas senior citizens are being given interest of 7.6 per cent on this. SBI Amrit Kalash FD is for 400 days.

SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit

This FD is available for 1,111, 1,777 and 2,222 days. On FDs of 1,111 and 1,777 days, the general public gets 6.65 per cent interest, while senior citizens are given 7.15 per cent interest. Whereas on FD of 2222 days, interest of 6.40 per cent is given to general citizens and 7.40 per cent to senior citizens. It was started so that money could be raised for green projects.
