Winter in Delhi NCR is about to return once again. IMD has forecast rain from 3 to 5 February. According to the department, cold conditions are expected to increase in the rainy states. However, air quality will improve.
New Delhi: In the last week of January, people of Delhi NCR , who are facing the cold of winter , breathed relief on Saturday. Today the sky was clear and there was strong sunshine throughout the day. But this relief was only for a short time. The Meteorological Department has issued a new alert on Saturday, in which there is a possibility of rain.
It will rain from 3 to 5 February
According to the Indian Meteorological Department ( IMD ), many states of North India, including Delhi NCR, will have to face the cold morning once again. IMD Chief (Northern Division) Kuldeep Srivastava said that there is a possibility of light rain in the night on 3 February in Delhi and the situation may remain the same till 5 February. The cold will increase once again due to rain and cold wave can be felt in many states of North India.
Air quality will improve
City, according to the IMD, winds of Air Quality ( Air Quality is expected to improve). Today, AQI 304 was registered at 9 am in Delhi. While on Wednesday, the average AQI of 24 hours was 283, Tuesday’s 404, Monday’s 372 and Sunday’s 347. Let us tell you that AQI between zero to 50 is ‘good’, between 51 and 100 is ‘satisfactory’, between 101 and 200 is ‘normal’, between 201 and 300 is ‘bad’, between 301 and 400 is ‘very bad’. And between 401 and 500 are considered in the ‘severe’ category. This month, Delhi’s air quality has been in the ‘severe’ category six times.
