Shahberi Road will remain closed for 20 days, use these routes to avoid trouble

Noida Traffic Diversion The work of widening Shahberi Road in Greater Noida has started from March 25. This 3 km long road connecting Ghaziabad to Greater Noida will be widened by about 1.5 meters on both sides. The road widening work will be completed in 20 days. After the road is widened, it will become easier for people to commute to Crossing Republic.

The work of widening Shahberi Marg will start from today. The width of this nearly three kilometer long road will be increased by 1.5 meters on both sides. Traffic on this route will remain completely blocked for the next 20 days.

Traffic police diverted the route

For the convenience of the drivers, the traffic police has diverted the route. Its advisory has already been issued. The width of Shahberi Marg from Iteda roundabout of Greater Noida West to Crossing Republic is currently about three meters. Due to being a single lane road, there is often a traffic jam here.

In view of this, the Greater Noida Authority has completed preparations to widen this road. This work will start from today. Traffic will be completely closed after 10 am on Tuesday. Authority manager Nitish Kumar said that due to development work, Shahberi road will be closed for 20 days from March 25. During this time the route will be diverted.

Use these alternative routes

According to the advisory issued by the traffic police regarding route diversion, vehicles going towards Ghaziabad via Shahberi from Iteda roundabout will be able to go towards the destination via 130 meter road from Gaur Chowk towards Tigri roundabout.

Vehicles going towards Ghaziabad via Shahberi from Tilpata can turn right from Ekmurti roundabout and go towards the destination via Roza Chowk via Chhapraula railway gate and Lal Kuan.

On the other hand, vehicles coming from ABES, Ghaziabad / NH-24 via Shahberi towards Noida Greater Noida, instead of coming via Shahberi, can go towards their destination from NH-24 Vijay Nagar Bypass via the 130 meter wide road via Tigri roundabout and Gaur Chowk.

There will be a diversion for three hours on the night of 26 March

On the other hand, due to the work of laying the electric line by the Energy Corporation to the Sify Data Center complex located in Sector 132, there will be a route diversion for about 3.5 hours on the night of 26 March.

DCP Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav said that the Energy Corporation has proposed to get the work of laying the overhead line of 220 kV line and changing the wires done from the substation on Sector 45 Road (near Amrapali Chowki) to Sector 132 Sify Data Center from 1 am to 4.30 am on the night of 26 March.

  • There will be a route diversion on the traffic going towards Amrapali Chowki Sector 45 from Sector 98, 100 and 104 Tiraha and Expressway Double Lane Service Road.
  • The traffic going from Sector 44 roundabout to Sector 45, 98, 100 and 104 from the Expressway Double Lane Service Road will go forward via Hajipur Chowk.
  • The traffic going from Sector 100 and 104 towards Sector 44 via Sector 45 will be diverted via the double lane service road from Hajipur Chowk.
