Sidhu Moose Wala CCTV Footage: A few minutes before the murder of famous Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala, a CCTV video has surfaced, in which two cars are seen chasing his SUV.
CCTV footage of Sidhu Moose Wala SUV: Famous Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by unknown assailants in Mansa district of Punjab on Sunday. The incident happened a day after the Punjab government withdrew the security of Moosewala. The police is investigating the matter and calling it a case of mutual enmity. Meanwhile, a CCTV footage has surfaced, in which Moosewala’s SUV is seen.
2 cars were chasing Moosewala’s SUV
In the CCTV footage, the SUV of Sidhu Moosewala is seen passing through a road and it is being told that this video is from a few minutes before his murder. In the video, two cars are seen chasing Moosewala’s SUV. After this, a white colored Bolero is also seen going in the video.
Indiscriminate firing on Moosewala’s car
Police officials said that Sidhu Moosewala was attacked at around 5.30 pm on Sunday. According to Punjab DGP VK Bhawra, Moosewala along with his neighbor Gurvind Singh and relative Gurpreet Singh had left their house at 4.30 pm. During this, he himself was driving the car. He further said that when Moosewala had reached Jawaharke village in Mansa district, two vehicles stopped his SUV and after that he was fired indiscriminately.

2 commandos were posted under the protection of Moosewala
Punjab DGP VK Bhavra said that earlier four commandos of Punjab Police were deployed for the security of Sidhu Moosewala. Security is reduced every year on account of ‘Operation Blue Star’ anniversary and next month ‘Ghallughara week’. In view of this, out of the four commandos of Punjab Police posted under the protection of Moosewala, two were removed and at present 2 commandos were posted under his protection.
Moosewala went without commando and bullet proof vehicle
Giving information about the incident, Director General of Police VK Bhavra said, ‘Sidhu Moosewala did not take his two commandos along at the time of the incident. Along with this, he did not even take his private bullet proof vehicle.
Punjab government had reduced security a day before
A day before the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, the Punjab government had cut his security. According to Punjab DGP VK Bhawra, earlier four commandos of Punjab Police were deployed under the protection of Sidhu Moosewala. However, later 2 out of 4 commandos were removed and at present 2 commandos were posted under their protection. He told that every year the security is reduced due to the anniversary of ‘Operation Blue Star’ and next month ‘Ghallughara week’. In view of this, the security of Moosewala was cut.
