Kolkata: Sourav Ganguly, chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former India captain , will undergo stenting treatment on Thursday. Sourav Ganguly was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Wednesday with chest pain. Here Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Ganguly was treated by Saroj Mondal. He will be stenting tomorrow.
A few days back, Ganguly was admitted to the hospital with chest pain. Ganguly was then undergoing angioplasty. Ganguly had returned home after a few days of treatment.
Mild heart attack before
Earlier this month, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild heart attack. Ganguly was working out at his residence. Meanwhile, he had chest pains. He later suffered a mild heart attack. Ganguly was rushed to Woodlands Hospital. A team of 4 doctors was appointed to treat Ganguly. Ganguly underwent angioplasty. The blockage was removed in this surgery.
