BSNL users can now pay their dues by paying half the amount. BSNL Kolkata has recently announced this limited period offer for subscribers. In this, the arrears of broadband, landline bill or postpaid mobile bill can be paid. In return, he will get a no deuse certificate. However, the discount will be different with subscribers from different categories. This offer will be till 31 March 2021.

BSNL has divided its customers into five categories. Those who have old arrears up to one year, they will not get any discount. Subscribers who have bills, whose due date is more than one year but less than two years, will get a discount of 10% on their bills.
The bill which is outstanding for more than two years but less than three years, will get 25 percent discount on the total outstanding amount. Discount will increase by 30% for subscribers who have due date of bill more than three years but less than five years. Those bills which have been outstanding for more than 5 years, they will get 50 percent discount on the total amount.
Offer not valid for government employees
This offer is for general subscribers or for telecom subscribers. The offer is not for government customers or government enterprises. This one time settlement facility is for defaulters who were disconnected due to non-payment of dues on or before 31 March 2020.
Defaulter can pay in BSNL Kolkata bank account digitally through NEFT / RTGS online transfer. Apart from this, cash can be paid at any of the 20 physical bill collection centers in Kolkata of the telecom company.
