Bank of Baroda (BoB) has announced the launch of ‘bob Global Women NRE & NRO Savings Account’ equipped with ‘Auto Sweep’ facility. This will facilitate customers to get home loan and auto loan at cheaper rate along with getting higher interest.
Women account holders will get these benefits
BOB is the first public sector bank to launch such an account for women account holders. The processing fee on loans in this account will also be less. The bank has improved one of its flagship NRE offerings, bob Premium NRE and NRO Savings Account, enhancing its features and benefits to provide a more beneficial banking experience to customers.
Bina Waheed, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda (BoB), said, bob Premium NRE & NRO Savings Account recognizes the changing dynamics of today’s global Indian women. It is designed to empower women by providing them with premium banking privileges and thoughtfully designed facilities.
These facilities will be available for free
The bank said that the revised BOB Premium NRE and NRO Savings Account comes with several features, including a customized debit card with enhanced transaction limits, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, free safe deposit locker and free personal and air accident insurance coverage.
BOB Global Women NRE Savings Account
- The account can be opened individually or jointly with other NRI/PIO.
- The funds deposited in the account will be in the form of fresh remittance from abroad or transfer from other NRE/FCNR (B) account as per FEMA/RBI guidelines.
- As applicable to savings account from time to time. The rate on FFDs created from auto sweep will be as per the ROI applicable for NRE term deposits for 12 months. No interest will be paid on FFDs maintained for less than 12 months.
- No additional interest will be payable to senior citizens and staff/former staff members.
