Staff Selection Commission has made a major change in the rules of marking criteria of Delhi Police and CAPF SI Recruitment Exam. A notice has also been issued in this regard.

SSC Exam 2023: Staff Selection Commission has issued an important notice on 24th August, Thursday. In which changes have been announced in the rules of Delhi Police and CAPF SI recruitment exam. The commission has made major amendments in the rules of negative marking criteria of Paper-1 and Paper-2.

What are the new rules?

Under the new rules, there will be less penalty for wrong answers than before. 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in both the papers. Let us tell you that according to the notification issued on July 22, it was said to deduct 1/3 marks for the wrong answer in this examination.

More than 1800 posts will be recruited

This time there are 1876 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs. Applications for the recruitment started from July 22. The last date for registration was 15 August. The correction window was opened on 16th and 17th August.

Exam pattern

The exam can be organized in October. Exam will be conducted in three phases. In the first phase Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) questions will be asked. Candidates who qualify Paper-I will be called for Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test. Only selected candidates will be able to appear for Paper-2. After which there will be medical test and document verification. Candidates keep visiting the official website ssc.nic.in for updates related to the exam.
