SSC MTS 2021: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Exam 2020. The application process has started and will be open till 31 March. The exam will be held from 1 to 20 July. While Tier-II examination is to be held from 21 November. Interested candidates can apply at ssc.nic.in. Candidates have to clear Paper-I and Paper-II to be eligible for the job. As per the rules, objective questions will come up in Paper-I. While Paper-II descriptive questions will come up. According to the old pattern, there will be negative marking of 0.25 number for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
The passing marks in Paper-II will be 40 percent for the unreserved category and 35 percent for all reserved category candidates. However, the numbers obtained by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case of more than one candidate getting the same marks in Paper-1. Candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay the prescribed application fee of Rs 100 through online mode. SC / ST / Ex-servicemen and all women candidates are exempted from the application fee. In 2019, 38.58 lakh candidates had registered for about 10 thousand recruitments of MTS fired by SSC.
