This news is about the Staff Selection Commission, an organization that recruits for various posts in the departments of the Government of India. Staff Selection Commission has changed its official website. Now its address will not be ssc.nic.in. The Commission has also issued a notice regarding the launching of the SSC website.
SSC new website has been launched. The Commission has issued this notice on its old website ssc.nic.in only. So that all the candidates going there can get this necessary information. The address of the new website of SSC is ssc.gov.in. Along with this, the Commission has also given necessary information regarding OTR.
SSC OTR: Where to do one time registration?
SSC has said that due to the creation of a new website, now the candidates will have to do one time registration again. Even if you have already done One Time Registration on the old website. You will have to do OTR registration once again. Now you will have to complete this process by going to ssc.gov.in.
You will also get information about all the upcoming SSC vacancies on this new website. The process of new SSC Recruitments, job notifications and online applications will also have to be completed from ssc.gov.in only. Applications made on the old website will not be valid. To do fresh registration, candidates can follow the instructions given below.
- Visit the new website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on login then register now option will be available.
- One time registration link will open and once the details are filled, click on continue link.
- Enter the required critical details and click on submit.
- After verification of mobile and email OTP, click on Save & Next button will store the
- provided ‘Personal Details’.
- Fill the other details and then click on submit.
- Once the registration is done, login to the account.
- Upon the first login, users will be prompted to change their password.
- Change the password and login again.
All applications for future examinations are required to be submitted online through new website, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, only. For more related details candidates can check the official website of SSC.
It has been told in the latest SSC notice that the Commission has made its new site live on 17 February 2024. However, for now the old website will also remain active. A link to it has been given on the new website. But things related to recruitment will have to be completed from the new site only.
