NSE, BSE Holiday List: There will be many market holidays in the remaining three months of this year. These holidays will be in addition to the weekly holidays.

Market Holiday: There are only 3 months left for this year i.e. 2024 to end. Apart from the weekly holidays on Saturday and Sunday in these months, the markets will remain closed on many days. One of these holidays is going to happen next week itself. On October 2 (Wednesday), there is a holiday all over India on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The stock markets will also be closed on this day. This means that there will be no work on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) next Wednesday.

According to the information given on BSE, there will be no work in equity, equity derivatives and SLB segments on October 2. Apart from weekly holidays, there is only one additional market holiday in October.

Like the stock market, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also be closed on October 2. On this day, both sessions of MCX i.e. morning and evening sessions will be closed. Apart from this, there will be no trading on MCX from morning session on Diwali day i.e. November 1. On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, there will be no work on MCX in the morning session on November 15 (Friday). On the occasion of Christmas, there will be no work on MCX in both sessions.
