Stock Market Holiday Today (17 June): There will be no trading on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) today. However, evening facility will be available in commodity trading.

Stock Market Holiday Today (17 June): There will be no work in the stock market today (17 June). After Saturday and Sunday, the market will remain closed on Monday for the third consecutive day due to Bakrij (Eid-ul-Azha). There will be no trading on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE). However, evening facility will be available in commodity trading.

According to the information available on the BSE website, all segments like equity, derivatives and SLB will remain closed on June 17. Earlier, the stock market was closed on Saturday and Sunday on June 15 and June 16, 2024 due to weekly holiday. Normal trading will resume on Tuesday (June 18).

Commodity trading will be available in the evening

According to the website of Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), there will be no trading in the morning session on Monday (17 June). Trading facility will be available in the evening session. The evening session is from 5:00 pm to 11:30 / 11:55 pm.

Stock markets will remain closed for 15 days this year

According to the information available on the BSE website, in the year 2024, the stock market will remain closed for a total of 15 days except weekly holidays (Saturday, Sunday). After Bakrid, the stock market will be closed on the occasion of Muharram on July 17.

Apart from this, there will be no work in all segments like equity, derivatives and SLB on Independence Day on August 15, Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, Diwali on November 1, Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 15 and Christmas on December 25.
