You can easily get a loan of up to Rs 4 lakh from Bihar Credit Card. The purpose behind starting this scheme is to provide loan for higher education to the 12th pass students of the state so that they can do their further studies well. This scheme proves to be very helpful for those students of the state whose financial condition is weak and they are not able to study further.
No need to pay interest
The best thing about this scheme is that the state government provides a loan of up to Rs 4 lakh to the students and you will not have to pay any interest in it.
These documents will be required to apply
To apply, the student must have Aadhaar card, 10th and 12th mark sheet, 2-2 passport size photos of parents and guarantor, proof of admission in higher education institution, last 6 months statement of parents’ bank account, applicant’s identity card (Aadhaar card, passport, voter card, driving license etc.).
Who can apply for this
If you are going to apply, then you must be a permanent resident of Bihar. The age for this scheme should not be more than 25 years. Also, for this scheme, one must have passed 12th class from any recognized educational institution.
How to apply for a credit card
- If you want to apply for a student credit card, then first you have to go to the official website of the Education Department, Planning and Development Department and Labor Resources Department.
- Then you will see the option of “New Applicant Registration”, on which you have to click. The registration form will open in front of you on the next page.
- Then in this registration form, you have to fill all the information like applicant’s name, email ID, Aadhaar number, mobile number etc. After this, an OTP will come on your number.
- Which you have to fill in place of OTP. After this, you will receive your username and password by email.
- Now you have to login by entering this username and password on the portal. Then you have to click on the option of student credit card. After this the application form will open.
- In this application form, you will have to enter all the information asked. After filling all the information, you have to click on the submit button.
- Now you will receive the PDF copy of the application form and information about the documents on your email.
- Students will be informed about when to visit the counter through their mobile number or email ID.
- After this, you will have to submit the application form and documents at the counter. After this, you will get information related to the credit card on the mail.
