Battery operated spray pump subsidy: Know which farmers will benefit and where to apply
Many schemes are being run by the central and state government for the benefit of farmers, on which they are provided the benefit of subsidy. What is the new scheme of Haryana government
Haryana State Government has started this scheme especially with the aim of benefitting the Scheduled Caste farmers. Under this, farmers will be given 50 percent discount for buying battery operated spray. In this way farmers will be provided the benefit of subsidy on agricultural machinery at half the cost. According to the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department of Haryana, the biggest condition for the farmers applying under this scheme is that the farmer should belong to the scheduled caste. Apart from this, other farmers will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.
Till when farmers can apply for this scheme
According to the officials of the Agriculture Department, in the year 2021-22, under the scheme of Scheduled Castes, farmers of all the districts will be given grants on battery operated spray pumps. Online applications have been invited for this. The application can be made on the website of Haryana Agriculture Department. Beneficiaries will be selected on first come first serve basis. For this, farmers can apply till 30 September.
Eligibility/Conditions for Application in Battery Operated Spray Pump Subsidy Scheme
- On behalf of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, it has been said that the benefit of this scheme can be availed by only those farmers who are in the list of Scheduled Castes in the year 2021-22. He should have a Scheduled Caste certificate.
- The farmer applying should be a permanent resident of the concerned district.
- For this scheme, the same farmer will be eligible who has not taken subsidy on battery operated spray pump for four years.
- This equipment can be procured from a GST holder vendor.
How will the subsidy be determined
Battery operated (operable) spray pump scheme has been started by the Haryana government for the Scheduled Caste farmers. Under this scheme, spray pumps are being made available to the economically weaker farmers of scheduled castes at low cost. Under this new scheme, the farmers are being provided the benefit of subsidy on battery operated spray pumps. Under this, farmers will be given 50 percent subsidy or Rs 2500, whichever is less. That is, a subsidy of more than Rs 2500 will not be given under this scheme.
