Summer Flowering Plants: These 5 plants will be full of flowers even in summer

1. Bela:

Bella is also known as Arabian Jasmine. It is one of the Summer Flowering Plants. You can apply it with cutting. While taking its cuttings, make sure that the cuttings are not too thick and are green in color.

  • To prepare potting mix, you can take equal amount of soil, sand and dung manure or cocoapeat.
  • To apply the cuttings, you should initially cut a disposable glass or plastic bottle and make a planter.
  • Under this planter, make a hole in the bottom, so that the water drains easily.
  • Now fill the potting mix in the planter and apply the cuttings of the plant of Bella. Before applying the cuttings, apply ‘ root dry powder ‘ to it, so that the roots develop quickly in it.
  • After cutting, add water from above. While adding water, make sure that your cutting does not move.
  • Now you have to keep this planter in a place where it gets light sunlight throughout the day. Do not accidentally place it in a place where there is very strong sunlight.
  • In about 10-12 days you will see growth in cutting.
  • Keep watering regularly and after about a month, you can plant your plant in a 12 to 15 inch pot.
  • Within three-four months, your fiddle plant will grow very big.

2. bougainvillea:

Another name in Summer Flowering Plants is Boganavilia, which has many colors of flowers. You will see a variety of flower plants of Boganvillea around you. So what are you waiting for, bring two or three cuttings from a plant to plant in your house. Because, it is very easy to plant Bognavilia plants with cuttings. While applying boganvillea, keep in mind the temperature of your area. If you have temperatures up to 35 degrees, you can still apply boganvellia. Also, monsoon is the best season to plant any cuttings.

  • To apply boganvillea cuttings you can take ordinary garden soil.
  • Fill it in a pot of 12 to 15 inches of clay.
  • In this pot, you put three to four cuttings at equal distance from each other.
  • Now pour water from the top in the pot and keep it in a place where there is no direct sunlight on it.
  • In about two weeks, you will see growth in your cutting. Now you can put the pot in the sun.
  • Keep watering regularly and keep watching which cuttings are developing.
  • If there is no growth in a cutting even after two to three weeks, you remove it.
  • In two-and-three months, your plant of Bognavilia will grow significantly.

3. Portulaca

This plant, which falls under the category of Summer Flowering Plants, is also called Moss Rose and Gul-e-Shama in many places. It has very beautiful flowers of different colors. You should bring some cuttings from the plants of Portulaca available in your vicinity and plant them in your house.

  • To apply portulaca cuttings, you can use common garden soil.
  • First you fill the soil in a plastic cup and make a hole in its bottom.
  • Now apply the cuttings to the soil and pour water over it.
  • Keep it in a place where there is no direct sunlight.
  • Within about one to two weeks, the cutting starts growing and its roots start to form.
  • But you do not have to put the cuttings in any other pot until it starts growing well.
  • After about a month, you can apply this cutting in a big pot or planter.
  • When planting the plants in another pot, you can add normal garden soil and compost to the potting mix.

4. Sunflower:

How can it be related to Summer Flowering Plants and not to the flower closest to the sun. The more beautiful and attractive the sunflower flowers look, the longer they bloom. You can plant sunflower plant with seeds in your house. First of all, buy sunflower seeds from a nursery or seed store shop. If you want, you can apply sunflower seeds directly in pots or you can prepare ‘seedlings / plants’ first.

  • To plant sunflower, take a flowerpot / gro bag or any big plastic box and make a hole in the bottom of it.
  • To make a potting mix, you mix 40% manure and 10% sand in 50% soil.
  • First of all prepare the pot by filling the potting mix well.
  • Now sow seeds in it and sprinkle water.
  • Although sunflower seeds germinate in 7-10 days, sometimes they take up to two weeks. So be patient and take regular care of them.
  • When the sunflower plants start to grow, you place the pot in a place where the sun is good.
  • Keep giving water regularly to them. But give water only when the soil is dry and take care that there is never water in the pot. Because, sunflowers also grow in less water. But, excess water spoils the plants.
  • Your sunflower plants are ready in about three months.

5. Cosmos Orange:

Today’s last Summer Flowering Plant is Cosmos Orange. You can also plant its plant with seeds. You can get these seeds online or buy them from any seed store near you.

  • First, you take a medium sized flowerpot.
  • For potting mix, you take 70% cocopate, 20% clay and 10% sand.
  • Now fill the potting mix in the pot and apply the seeds.
  • Sprinkle water on top. Remember to spray only with water, as its seeds are very light.
  • If you want, you can now put a polythene sheet on this pot. This will help the seeds to germinate quickly.
  • Place the pot in a place where there is no direct sunlight.
  • These seeds will begin to sprout in about a week.
  • When their seeds have sprouted, remove the polythene and keep the pot in direct sunlight.
  • In about 20-25 days, these plants will grow so big that you can plant them in other pots.
  • To plant the plants in another pot, you can add normal garden soil, sand and vermicompost to the potting mix.
  • You fill this potting mix in other pots and then, one by one, plant these plants in another pot.
  • Your plants will be well prepared in about three months.
