Summer Special Trains: To meet the convenience of passengers and their travel demand, Central Railway has decided to run 6 summer special trains at special fares. These trains will run from Mumbai to Banaras and Panvel to Chhapra.
Summer Special Trains: People are constantly planning to go somewhere to get relief from the scorching heat and enjoy summer holidays. In such a situation, a huge crowd of passengers is being seen in the trains. However, the railways have also completed their preparations for this. Central Railway said that special trains are being run for the convenience of passengers and to reduce the extra crowd of people in trains.
Central Railway said in a press note, “As per the requirement of passengers, Railways has decided to run special train services between Mumbai-Varanasi and Panvel-Chhapra to clear the extra rush of passengers.”

CSMT-Varanasi Special – 2 service
01057 Special train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on Friday, 21.06.2024 at 05.50 am and will reach Varanasi the next day at 12.30 pm.
01058 Special train will depart from Varanasi on Saturday, 22.06.2024 at 15.30 pm and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on the third day at 00.25 pm.
At which stations will the train stop
This train will stop at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur, Lucknow and Sultanpur en route. Which includes 2 AC -III Tier, 13 Sleeper Class, 07 General Second Class including 2 Guard Brake Van (22 coaches)
Panvel-Chhapra Special – 4 services
05198 Special will depart from Panvel on Sundays dated 23.06.2024 and 30.06.2024 at 21.40 hrs and will reach Chhapra at 09.45 hrs on the third day.
05197 Special will depart from Chhapra on Saturdays dated 22.06.2024 and 29.06.2024 at 13.15 hrs and will reach Panvel at 20.30 hrs the next day.

The train will stop at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Aunrihar, Gyanpur City, Ballia en route. Which includes 2 AC -III Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 08 General Second Class including 2 Guard Brake Van (22 coaches)
How will the booking be done
Central Railway informed that booking for special train number 01057 at special charges will start immediately and booking for special train number 05198 at special charges will start on 20.06.2024 at all computerized reservation centers and website www.irctc.co.in.
