Recently, Indian Railways has announced to run special trains for South India and Puri. This summer special train will run between New Delhi to Ernakulam Junction and Hazrat Nizamuddin to Puri. New Delhi-Ernakulam Summer Special Train (06072) will run every Monday from April 22 to June 3. It will make a total of 7 trips between New Delhi and Ernakulam. This train will leave from New Delhi at 5:10 am and will reach Ernakulam Junction at 3:10 pm the next day.

This train connects Mathura, Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi, Bina, Bhopal, Itarsi, Betul, Nagpur, Balharshah, Warangal, Vijayawada, Ongole, Gudar, Renigunta, Tirputi, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Palakkar, Thrissur, It will reach Ernakulam Junction stopping at Aluva.
2. Hazrat Nizamuddin-Puri Summer Special Train
Hazrat Nizamuddin-Puri Summer Special Train (08476) will run from Hazrat Nizamuddin every Saturday from 20th April to 29th June. Which will make a total of 20 trips from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Puri. This train will leave from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5:40 pm and will reach Puri at 11:45 pm the next day.
